It was named “Italian Camouflage” because it is based on the dark Italian military camo. Right around the time many of you reading this–and the one writing it–graduated high school, Yeah Yeah Yeahs blew the fuck up with their hit single “Maps.” It was all over MTV, and VH1 and Fuse and whatever ancient television networks existed back then before you could just watch music videos on YouTube.
